1.  GENERAL MATTERS

Overview
Welcome to Joe Solo Production Inc./ Music Success Workshop (“collectively “JSP”) website (“Site”)!  As the owner of this Site and JSP and believes that, protecting our visitors’ privacy and security is a top priority. For this reason, we have adopted the following Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to advise you of your choices regarding the use of your personal information on the Site. By accessing and using this Site you agree to this Policy and the Terms of Service

 

JSP reserves the right to change this Policy at anytime for any reason, and will include a notice of any change to this Policy on the Site. By continuing to use the Site you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit and print the latest version of this Policy for your records. For your information, the date of the last update to this Policy is posted at the top of this page. 


Scope of Policy
This Policy only applies to this Site and
does not apply to other companies' or organizations' web sites to which we link. You should carefully review the privacy policies of those web sites in order to determine how they treat your personal information.

2.  WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM VISITORS

 

You may need to provide us with personally identifiable information or (“PII”) in order to take advantage of the services we offer on the Site.  We may ask for what is generally called “personally identifiable” information (such as your name and email address etc.). In addition, you may have the option of providing us with certain demographic information about yourself (such as location, zip code and state). There may be other occasions not specifically identified in this Policy when we may ask you to provide us with personally identifiable information. However, it will always be your decision whether to provide us with your PII. In some cases, if you decline to share PII with us, then we may not be able to provide you with certain services. There are different ways in which we may collect information when you interact with our Site.  Many are discussed below, but in general we may collect PII when you:

 

 

3.How We Use Your Information

We use all of the information that we collect from your use of the Site, any information you provide when you register with us, and information provided to us by third parties to:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.OPT-IN / OPT-OUT

 

Opt-In. When you take advantage of the services offered on our Site, you will automatically receive commercial and promotional email messages from us to let you know about new products, services and features offered by us or our partners. We will not share your PII with third parties who send commercial email to you unless you Opt-In to receive email from them. Any email sent by us or one of our partners will always include an opportunity to Opt-Out from receiving future email. 

 

How to Opt-Out. Every communication we send you will contain a clearly worded "Opt-Out" or "Unsubscribe" link allowing you to withdraw your permission for future e-mails. Alternatively, you can send a blank e-mail to info@joesolo.comand type "Remove" in the subject field. This system is automated and must be contacted from the email address you wish to have removed. Permission changes will be honored as soon as possible after receipt. Please allow seven to ten business days for processing. Permission changes will not effect any information which you previously provided to us and which we previously shared with our business partners.

 

5.  COLLECTION OF NON-PERSONAL AGGREGATE DATA


We gather non-personally identifiable information (“Aggregate Data”) with respect to our visitors’ use of the Site to determine the extent to which our visitors use certain parts of the Site, which, in turn, enables us to make the Site as useful as possible. We may provide Aggregate Data about the use of our Site with our business partners.

6.  COOKIES, Beacons, Session ID AND IP ADDRESSES

 

When you come to our Site, we may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your  computer. We use session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Site. These persistent cookies can be removed, but each web browser is a little different. Please review your browser’s Help menu to learn how to modify your cookies setup. Our Site also uses web beacons (also known as clear gifs or pixel tags), which are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that are placed in the code of a webpage.  

Third Party Cookies: Cookies sent to your computer by us (or third parties on our behalf) are governed by this Policy.The independent use of cookies by unaffiliated third parties is not covered by this Policy, as we do not have access or control over third party cookies.  Such cookies are typically used by third parties to provide you with customized advertising. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them, please consult your browser’s help menu. 

Automatically Collected Information: When you use this Site or open one of our emails, we use technology (including web beacons and cookies, IP addresses, unique device IDs, user IDs, and log files) to automatically collect non-personally identifiable information including, but not limited to:

 

We may link automatically collected information to PII you submit while on the Site when you are logged in or in connection with a service you have requested. For example, if you sign up for an update on certain information such as an answer to a question, we will store your Membership ID together with your email address so that you can manage and (if you chose to) share your questions and answers with other Site Members. 

Site Referrals: If you choose to use our referral service to inform others about the services on the Site, we will ask you for the referral recipient’s name and email address. We will use the information you provide to automatically send the referral recipient a one-time email with information about the Site. We delete the email address shortly after sending an informational email to the referral recipient and we do not share it with any third party. 

Analytic Tools: We may use tools such as Google Analytics to better understand who is using our Site and how they are using it. These tools use cookies to collect information such as time of visit, pages visited, time spent on each page of the Site, IP address, and type of operating system used. We use this information to manage and improve the Site. 

Promotions, Sweepstakes, & Contests: From time to time, we may sponsor sweepstakes, contests, other promotions or surveys. PII may be required as a condition of participation for purposes of verifying entrants’ identities, notifying winners and fulfilling prizes. We will not use or disclose any such information unless we receive your consent to do so. If we engage a third party to assist us in administering a promotion or fulfilling prizes, this information will be disclosed to that third party. 

Data Retention: We retain all information we collect about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. 

 

7.  WHEN WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

Personally Identifiable Information: We do not share PII with third-parties for their marketing or promotional uses except as part of a specific program or feature that you have chosen to participate in. For example, if you choose to participate in a survey, then we will share the information you provide with the advertiser who provided the survey. 

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may aggregate non-personally identifiable information (such as zip code, state and other automatically collected information that does not personally identify you) and share such aggregated information with our partners in order to help them improve the marketing of their products and services. 

Exceptions: We may share information about you if required to do so by law or if there is a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with local, state, or federal laws or to respond to a court order, judicial or other governmental subpoena or warrant, or in the event of bankruptcy proceedings. We also reserve the right to share information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to take precautions against liability, protect us or our partners from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses, investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, assist government enforcement agencies, protect the security or integrity of the Site, and to protect our rights, property, or safety and those of our partners and others. 

If we are acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign any information we have collected from you (including PII) as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.

 

8. Your Choices

You may modify, correct, or delete your personally identifiable information and preferences at any time contacting us at mailto:info@joesolo.com.  We will respond to you within 30 days from the date you contact us.  

To protect your privacy and security, we require you to enter your email address and password before allowing access to your account on the Site and Member Center.

9. Facebook Connect

You may be given the opportunity to register with us via Facebook Connect. We will collect and store the information you provide us through Facebook Connect (including PII) with any other registration information you provide us. Disabling your Facebook Connect may not terminate your account with us.

10. Community Forum

We may manage and operate a discussion board or other forum (“Community Forum”) on the Site, or use a third party hosted and managed site, for general matters of interest regarding our Site or special programs we offer. The use of any Community Forum feature on our Site is subject to the forum rules posted on our Terms of Service, and the use of a Community Forum on a third party site will be subject to that third-party site’s forum rules. Please take special note that if you post any personally identifiable information to a Community Forum, then that information can be read, collected, and used by other users of the Community Forums. This Policy does not apply to the PII you post to a Community Forum, and we are not responsible for any use of information you post to a Community Forum, whether hosted by us or a third party.    

 

11. Our Commitment to Data Security

The Site incorporate physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your PII. Additional security measures, such as Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) or other technology, will be used if you engage in financial transactions on our Site. However, as no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. 

 

 

12. Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

The Site is not meant for use by children and we do not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of our Site is structured to attract anyone under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Site at any time or in any manner. If we learn that PII of persons under 13 years of age has been collected on the Site without verified parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information

13.Special Note to International Users

The Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the U.S. If you access the Site from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from U.S. laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which are governed by U.S. law and this Policy, you are transferring your PII to the U.S., and you consent to that transfer
